David "acefly"The Birch stock M1 is a 5.4 mil rifle with original barrel.
The one with milled gaurd is a Oct 1941 but was a 1947 rebuild.

this is Brian's (conda14) 1st ever Garand. Its a SA Rack grade with a TE of 2 and a muzzle of 1. Its  a Oct. 1944
