5) left: CMP
IHC
RG (SN: 4,459,xxx) with a 4-53 LMR barrel. The TE is 6 and ME 2.9, but
with some bore scrubbing and light muzzle crown finishing, this Rack Grade
IHC will shoot 2 MOA or less. |
7) a
C.A.I., "so I have no bad feelings about tricking it out
as a sporter. It has an almost new Beretta barrel and all the other parts
are also Beretta or BMB/BMR. I salvaged all the USGI parts for restoring
other Garands. The HRA barrel that came with this is now on my HRA receiver
I built up. I'm a lefty but still have no problems shooting this scoped
M1 left handed. The 3.5 x 10 45mm scope makes the shooting life easy on
my old eyes. The stock I used was originally a HRA, but not worthy of
restoring. The hand guards were cracked up, so they got put together with
epoxy and everything weather coated." |

top down: CMP 1942 Winchester CMP 1941 Springfield CMP 1953 H&R Plus their 2 little ones, Inland and a Saginaw S'G'. ok, so Ed snuck the Carbines in here, but I figured since there was some confusion a while back on one of the forums between an M1 Garand & an M1 Carbine I thought it would be informational :o) plus, Ed has a nice setup there. |
ok,
so David "ACEFLY" cheated and snuck his CMP 1942 Rem 03-A3 in
here, but since some might want to see a "New" M1 Springfield,
whata' gonna do? Picture #3 is his grandfather's old DCM 1952 Springfield |
